Eagle Eye wind-driven unit

The Eagle Eye wind-driven unit has been developed to serve as a cost-effective complement to the Eagle Eye 12v system.

Clients can now use a combination of motorized and wind-driven units to ensure optimal coverage while keeping expenses down.

The Eagle Eye wind-driven unit rotates on a double-bearing system and is propelled by two reflective faceted wind-cups to achieve rotation in the slightest of breezes.

The Eagle Eye™ is an effective bird deterrent device that harmlessly relocates birds.

Birds are irritated by reflected light beams that flash at various angles from a rotating Eagle Eye™ unit.

The system has been extensively tested and used at hundreds of locations in South Africa as well as Internationally.
Facilities and situations include resorts, food production facilities, waste treatment plants, correctional facilities, hospitals, libraries, government buildings, tourist facilities, golf courses, bowling greens, and horticultural crops to name but a few.

In order for the Eagle Eye system to be most effective, the following steps must be taken:
1) Bird proofing products should be installed at the favourite nesting- and roosting areas.
2) Ensure that easily accessible food sources are removed or covered.

The Eagle Eye system will work to deter birds from the general area, only once the above-mentioned attractions have been addressed

The Eagle Eye™ is complementary to the full range of products and techniques used by bird control experts to relocate birds from infested areas.

The Reflector:

Manufactured from durable ABS plastic and coated with a highly reflective coating to reflect
light while absorbing very little Ultra Violet.
The reflector has multiple reflecting angles that ensures a greater coverage as well as an
irregular flashing pattern.
The design and structure of the reflector is resistant to damage from falling objects like hail
or golf balls.

Mounting Brackets:

Mounting brackets are manufactured from glass filled nylon and aluminium piping is used
to provide years of corrosion free longevity of the installation.
The brackets and piping are designed to accommodate various different installation
configurations.

Maintenance:

It is of utmost importance to clean and maintain the Eagle Eye unit on a regular basis.
Quarterly servicing will be necessary in cities or near the coast, otherwise the unit should
be maintained once every 6 months.
The Eagle Eye unit should be polished with a regular non-abrasive car polish and
a microfiber cloth.
